By Jennifer Norman

Lake Mary, FL, better known as the “City of Lakes” to its residents, offers an array of affordable and luxury apartments nestled in and around the area’s residential neighborhoods.

Located about 18 miles north of downtown on Orlando’s main thoroughfare, Interstate 4 (I-4), Lake Mary offers many of the benefits of city living without the traffic. Apartment Living Professionals, snow-birds and families alike, all call the area home.

You’ll typically find one, two and three-bedroom floor plans with a few communities offering a studio option. With rent typically starting in the mid $900’s for a one-bedroom apartment, a lot of Lake Mary residents choose this upscale yet affordable area over the hustle and price tag of downtown Orlando.

Need a little more convincing?

Lake Mary is also known for its exceptional schools and one of the lowest crime rates in Florida. If you are looking for an apartment near the water, the City of Lakes, as its name suggests, will put you within minutes of the water no matter your location. If that’s not close enough, you can walk over to the community pool.

Almost every apartment community features a shimmering, resort-style pool often complete with cabanas, a lanai, or both.
