Below is a release from the Grant Maloy for Seminole County Clerk of Courts campaign.

"I am very humbled to have so many wonderful people who have taken time out of their busy schedules to volunteer for the campaign and to the voters who have given me the permission to run for this important office.", said Grant Maloy.

"This is truly a grassroots effort. No high paid consultants, marketing firms or mass mailings were used. We just talked with voters one at a time."

The Grant Maloy campaign will continue to collect extra petitions and encourages people to continue to send them in, as usually there are many that are rejected by the Elections office do to various reasons. “Our original goal was to have half of the petitions collected before the end of the year.

With the help of our volunteers and the support of voters, that goal was surpassed and then some.” Candidates for this office, either have to collect 2661 valid signatures, or pay a fee of nearly $9,000. Just last week, Grant Maloy received the endorsement of current Clerk of the Court Maryanne Morse.

Grant Maloy has been a small business owner for 24 years of nursery Gabriella Growers, a wholesale foliage nursery. He served as Seminole County Commissioner from 1996-2004 and on many boards in- cluding Charter Review Commission, Lynx, and Parks Advisory. Grant currently is Co-chair of the Center Right Coalition and has served on the James Madison Institute Advisory Board. Grant has been married for 24 years and has 3 children.
