Central Florida's, err Florida's best German eatery/bar, has announced their plans for Oktoberfest

By Jacob Engels

Aside from finding out what the annual Halloween Horror Nights lineup is, getting ready for Oktoberfest brought to us by Hollerbach's in Sanford is one of the best parts of fall.

This year will feature live music, an art haus, custome food/drink offerings and more. See below for details and how to purchase tickets and more!

***PRESS RELEASE***

Oktoberfest is almost here! This year we will expand the event to 2 days. Thursday night, we will continue to team-up with theSanford Welcome Center for Alive After Five, Central Florida’s longest running street party.

On Friday, we move the party to Magnolia Square, where guests can stroll to the sounds of Sonneschein Express as they enjoy the wares of unique vendors and German street food, including brats, pretzels and of course, bier!

On Thursday, Oktober 13th, we will bring back our VIP Haus at Hollerbach’s Art Haus, where the first 60 guests who sign up will get unlimited beer, schnapps, and food; exclusive bathrooms, a private concert from Jimmy and Eckhard, and Oktoberfest Swag. Tickets are 50 for singles and 80 for couples.

Thursday’s event will be from 5:00 to 9:00 but the VIP Haus opens early at 4:30.

On Friday, Oktober 14th from 6:00 to 11:00 the celebration moves from 1st Street to Magnolia Square. We will have expanded German food offerings as well as Buster’s Bistro’s famous frites.

For entertainment Marty Gross and the Sonneschein Express will be back for the second night, performing from 7:00 to 10:00.

The Alpine rose dancers will be teaching guests German dance moves and Sanford’s own Cowboy Keith will be doing last call to finish up the party from 10:oo to 11:00.
