Rapper Bezz Believe delves into generational racism, corrupt cops, and more with new song.

By Jacob Engels

Central Florida entrepreneur and rap legend Bezz Believe has officially released the music video for his latest song "Sanford", and it boy does it tackle a lot. The song, has been available for several months and has amassed several thousand listens on Soundcloud, while becoming one of his most downloaded tracks of 2015 according to Bezz Believes manager.

It is part of his latest album "The WaterBoy".

"Sanford" features Bezz's frequent collaborator and friend Nuk Grissle, and was shot entirely within the Sanford area using local residents as extras. The track focuses heavily on the shooting death of Trayvon Martin by George Zimmerman and the subsequent racial tension that exploded across the nation and in the Sanford community.

"Shooting the video was a great experience. Knowing your contributing to an actual purpose you believe in makes it feel 10 times better. We did film in Sanford and it is an historic and beautiful city. The purpose of the song was to bring more understanding to our community from both sides of racism, white and black."

As far as what we have seen in the past from Bezz Believe, I would peg his "Sanford" single as his most serious and politically charged release yet. He addresses the racism that is passed down generation after generation in both the black and white community, while delivering some of his authentic quick witted lyrics that his fans love him for.

You can listen to the song here and watch the music video below.
